Attached to the Young Vic Theatre and about a minute’s walk from Waterloo station, The Cut is a good alternative to the chain bars and restaurants of the Southbank. Main dishes - burgers, salads, mediterraneany type stuff - bar snacks, breakfast (‘til 11am), pastries and coffee, drinks, cocktails etc. Outside balcony too and buzzy atmosphere.

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre season runs from 19th May - 11th September. Production-wise proceedings begin with Lord Of The Flies until 18th June, then it’s on to The Beggar’s Opera, then Pericles and rounding up with Crazy For You. Also scheduled are nights of comedy with Jimmy Carr, Jeremy Hardy and the Comedy Store Players, as well as music and a screening of Romeo & Juliet.
